Apache 2.1.x and 2.2.x for windows, wont work with PHP 5
-Install apache 2.0.x into the default directory
-Install PHP5 into C:\PHP-5.1.4 (select Apache for webserver)
-go to
C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\conf (your apache conf directory)
-open http.conf
-Find lines that begin with the word "LoadModule"
-insert new line before the first one you find...
LoadModule php5_module "C:\PHP-5.1.4\php5apache2.dll"
-Find last line that begins with the word "AddCharset"
-insert 2 new lines after that...
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html
PHPIniDir "C:/PHP-5.1.4/"
