I was at Borders today and saw the latest copy of the Redbook (5th ed.) (link) and was like *drool* *BUY*.

Now, I have a copy of ed.3 or 4 on my HDD (in fact, I was browsing it for some information last night), but I still think my purchase was worth it. I loooove books. They're much more fun to read than online drivel, and you can carry them around and cuddle up with them on the couch and <3 <3 <3.

So, as I was telling Archwizard right now, I *do* still work on programming stuff. Despite me doing GUI crap and crap and so on, the ultimate goal is *still* to make games. I just need to smack myself around with some trout a lot more often because I tend to bite off more than I can chew. Which is dumb and unproductive for someone like me who has the attention span of a goldfish.

Ooh, look! A butterfly on my nose!

Not long enough; did read.

Do you have a to-do list? Maybe we need moar of those, though preferably not posted at the tops of our journals because that's not very original at all. Then again, to-do lists aren't original, either...

Well, I think we should make the lists, at least.

I'm appalled that you would even CONSIDER recommending something as unoriginal as a to-do list. Seriously. It shames me to have to tell you that I wouldn't stoop to that level as to broadcast to everyone in screen-widening recklessness what I won't be getting done anytime soon.

The only reason I'd ever make a to-do list is to procrastinate from completing whatever I was writing on said list, before taking a piss and going out to do something completely unrelated, leaving said unfinished list to rot in the dust.

GOOD DAY SIR! *SMACK!*

I never said you had to show it to anyone. It's supposed to be for your own use only.
