Still not much to see here. It now has a window border, and the background of the cells are now rendered (initially, I had considered using D3DRECTs for use with IDirect3DDevice9::Clear, but since I need to be able to jostle things around, I decided to actually make them polygons.
It's pretty fast, too. If you'd like to see the siezure inducing toy application that currently is JetLag2004, you can download it from here. If you are epileptic or something like that, you probably just shouldn't.
The executable is around 1meg, and that's going to be the size it remains, it looks like (I have already placed all of the wave files as resources. JetLag2004 is going to be a single file application, not counting the VC runtime dlls)
