I've played all but Dragon Quest, and Pokemon. My favorite out of that list has to be The Legend of Zelda, with Final Fantasy coming in second.
Pretty interesting. Source: Forbes.com
Other than that, I've been messing with NSIS to use for my Installation of Breakout Returns. Very clean and simple to use installation system.

Couple thoughts, Mario has been in a lot of games - so it's somewhat unfair to the rest of the games. Second, it isn't really fair to games like World of Warcraft that have an online subscription model. Yeah WoW has only sold something like 5 million copies (i'm making that number up, it's probably higher), but it also has a monthly subscription fee that it's continually collecting. I'd be curious to see a list of revenue generated by game series rather than flat out sales.
