Must... Make... Game...

I've been busy with things that don't really relate to game development so I haven't had much to say for awhile. When I do work on game stuff I've been honing my skills as a 3D modeler. As you can see from my previous entry this doesn't make for a very exiting journal. And I don't want to come across as some slick model pimp. Even though I am.

Programming a game is what I must do and I think it's about time I get started on one. The last complete 3D game I made was The Hacky Sack Game and that was a few years ago. Since then it's been engines, demos, and tools. So I'm going to skip most of that shit and get right into a game this time.

Right now I'm installing the latest build of Ogre 3D. I'll use this for rendering. I'll use Max and maxscripts for mapping levels.

So what's the game about? I don't know. I've always wanted to make a golf game. Perhaps dodge ball? Cuban immigrant boat races?
