Other than that, I worked on more of the design element of my new project that is up and coming. Laid out the main map that the player will be wondering on it and the essential landmarks that will play a vital role in the progression of the game. Naming is a pain and it took me forever to solidify all of the landmarks and the territories. But, it came out and everything is fitting together well.
If you missed it in my last entry, my plan is to write a short story and then base that short story on a 2D Isometric RPG. To further elaborate that, you will be playing 1 character through the entire game. You will need to raise its stats, find weapons, armor, landmarks, monsters, etc.
I have no interest in creating a fully fledged RPG with several races/classes. The purpose, again, is to just develop portfolio potential and programming experience.
Anyway, time to hit the rack.
