Wow, that really sucks man, how much do you have left until your 8 years is up?

How does that work if you're in college already? Will they reimburse you for time you would have spent at school?

Well. The inactive ready reserves have about 59k Marines. Of that, they are not going to pull from the 1st years and the last years, which brings the pool to about 34k Marines. Unfortunatly... I don't hit the last year mark until March of next year. So its fair game on me.

They'll pull you, even if your in college. They don't care. They won't reimburse you for anything, they'll just simply stop your benefets that you are receiving.

Which, wouldn't matter. I'm a Sergeant and being overseas for nearly 2 years would leave me with about $50k in my bank account when I came home. God forbid that the deployment would last that long... But, who knows.

Regards,
-Dave
