Well, the last few days have been pretty uneventful. I've started separating my engine into code that I can solidify and not have to rewrite tons of times. For example, my HtmlLog class, IniFile class, Pool class, Color class, etc. I've rewritten these things hundreds of times and they barely ever change, so I'm setting up a directory and putting them in there.

As Raymond said in his journal, we finished the alpha version of part 1. Also, he's looking for some comments on what you guys want to see in his journal, so give him some (except for Rob Loach, because we all know he just wants to see more Maxim shots of Rebecca and Ivy.)

Surprise, surprise I'm still stuck on my RPG project and I'm having thoughts about starting a different project (a jump and run or a scrolling shooter (either horizontal or vertical.)) But, I don't think that would help one bit. I think I need someone working on it with me that was depending on me to get things done, but first of all I don't want to get someone to do graphics for me and then never finish the project. Plus the fact I don't think that many people would be willing to help with my percentage of failed projects being 100. Also, I don't seem to be able to choose a style of art lol. That would be a bad idea anyway, because I want to be able to give 100% of my attention to TLCoM when it is needed.

The failure has given me the attitude that I just want to get this project done, and that's not a good thing. I do want to finish the game, but I don't want to just 'want it done' as that'll result in it turning out crappy and I'll regret even doing it. I've thought about just doing a small project, but I always complicate it out the ass[sad].

I don't know what to do, but I do know that I'm tired so I'm going to bed.

Edit: Ok, I've come up with an idea, but I'm going to see how far I get with it before saying much about it.
