Got a couple more things to do - change those numbers in the corner to a graphical UI, fix the firing mechanism of both the player ship (make it so holding the mouse button down fires constantly) and the enemy ships (I realized this after the fact, but their rate of fire is frame-rate dependant), and *possibly* add in the shield gameplay mechanism.

I'm probably going out tonight, and tommorrow is a gameday, so no idea if all that's going to get done this weekend. That is the goal though, so I can spend next week thinktanking the next project (described in the previous post).
