Today I managed to finish up balancing the last of my first 26 levels. My goal was to have these done by the 15th so I'm a few days ahead of schedule. I plan to use that time to add a couple small features to my level layout tool to help the work flow of that process and possibly cut a few days off of the next task of laying out another 26 levels. I don't know how level designers can do this kind of thing as a full time gig. I'd rather be knee deep in code. :)

I saw a bunch of traffic hitting my new web site this week. I can only guess that it was because of press around the Intel contest. Either way it's cool to see that people have actually gone to the site. Now I just need to get more real content up there when I finish this game.

I must say that the end game for the development of Tiki Lounge Blackjack is feeling as painful as I thought it would. The end of a project is never as fun as the start. Either way I am motivated to finish. You can't market what you don't finish.
