XNA book

You should check this out if you haven't already.

I've been saying that I want to mess with XNA for awhile, but never wanted to take the time to slowly learn the framework. Well, now it's in an easy book form, so maybe I'll finally do something with XNA.

I've been wanting to start a side-project with it for awhile. My idea might seem unorthodox for a XNA game, but it's has been something I've wanted to do. My idea is to do a wargame, like the tabletop Warhammer Fantasy. It would be from a top-down perspective, and simulate playing a tabletop wargame, just on the computer.

But first, I actually have to learn more about XNA.

So far I've only really glanced at the first two chapters. However tomorrow I plan to read through chapters 1-3.

In addition to working on Blocky Man, maybe I can get my little wargame demo working with XNA.
