Hey, tonight I have yet another of my no-frills "I am too tired to post anything interesting" journal entries(I'm sorry). Let the brevity begin!

JS-4

Aight, tonight I present a JS-4 Super-heavy tank that will be sort of a sub-boss type unit that even though it's a friggin' tank, can still shoot at you with its massive main gun.

Random bonus points awarded for Knowing what 'JS' stands for.

Thanks for the feedback from yesterday, by the way[grin]

Seeya tomorrow!

If JS stands for Joseph Stalin, what happened to JS-1, JS-2, and JS-3?

Sir Sapo
Well, Mark is the resident tank expert, but IIRC, the JS series of tanks were developed during the Second World War, and went all the way from JS-1 to JS-3 before the wars end, whereupon they were replaced by newer main battle tanks.

But yeah, you guys are right, it stands for Joseph Stalin....

Sapo is correct, if you guys want more info you should google IS-3, because for some reason they use the alternate transliteration of Iosif Stalin for the acronym more often.

I was looking around earlier however, and learned that there was an actual JS-4 that was a competing design to the JS-3, but not as revolutionary.

In terms of the ballistics of the design the JS-3 is ahhhhh-soome, I may post a picture of a model I have of it tonight, if I have time.

(AP, I'm sorry, only people with faces can win the grand prize of absolutely nothing.)
