It's finally over.
The annoying thing about this, now I've cleared the block from my head the code I wrote was pretty cool, infact the sum total of my work on this assignment is around 11h at the most, so if I had started tuesday as I'd planned this would now be sometime thursday and I'd have a few days to improve it.

Ah well, such is life... my lecturer will probably enjoy my fall from grace [smile]

Anyways, one of the fun things about final year assignments is you have to present them nicely and as part of that you get to have an Acknowledgements section before the main body of work, where you thank those who have helpped you and what not.. the best bit is; it doesn't have to be serious... so, I present mine [grin]

Acknowledgements

While this assignment might well have gone horribly wrong, I'd like to thank two people for getting me to the point where I had at least something to hand in;

Firstly Claire for offering me some good advice as well as indirectly convincing me that drinking really was the answer to my problems and also for providing entertainment and good conversation Friday night.

Secondly Paula who happened to be having her birthday on Friday and for giving me much amusement as she wandered and crawled around drunkenly ;)

Finally, a general thanks to all of those people I know who read the rubbish I write on myspace and gamedev.net, the fact I've got somewhere to vent when stuff gets to me and people bother to read it is always appreciated :)

Finally, I feel this picture sums things up nicely... if I had more guts I'd have included it in my Acknowledgements section [grin]

I'm off now to blow shit up before grabbing a few hours sleep before I have to get up again and print off and hand this work in... so so glad it's over... so so looking forward to drinking at 9pm monday... [smile]

Hey did you read my post over at opengl.org or here? I just posted this same idea!@!! We need an app that stacks 2D .tga or whatever you want into a file format that is loaded with a library for this new extension. I AM PUMPED for it. I have been using an atlas for awhile now but, as we all now filtering is an issue and actually speed sucks with the math involved to get the correct texture coordinates. I really want to try that texture array extension ASAP to see it in action.

Oh and yes you are on crack! I seen you smoke it.[grin]

BTW how is SC beta? I am planning on getting it. Also do you have two Dell LCD? If so which ones and do you see ghosting in FPS games?

Yay! I remember you were complaining to me about the block.

Now you have to blow everybody away.
