The dangers of a lack of focus

It occured to me the other day that I have way too many projects on the go at any one time. Without listing them all, I currently have 3 C++ projects, 1 C project, 8 Python projects, a website, and 2 music projects at various stages of completion, all of which are important enough to me that I really want to see them completed. Yet my short attention span usually dictates that I only ever spend 1 or 2 days on each before moving to one of the others. Does this affect others, and how do people cope with it?

Yeah, I'm the same. [razz] I try to force myself to stick to my main project, and if it gets boring then I take a break and work on one of 20 other side projects. [smile]

I'm usually the same. I recently brutally murdered (well, shelved, at least) a few of my projects to concentrate on one thing. I'm hoping it will stick, but I sometimes have the attention span of a 5 year old.

I'm the same too, I get so far into a project and have another idea I want to try out, which in turn evolves into another project. I've recently shelved several and shifted my core focus onto my game, with the rest of my time being spent on my article project.

It's always a shame to let one go though :(

I'm exactly the same. I just can't stick to one project it's actually annoying, sometimes even whilst starting the project.
