Moving on

After around 15 hours yesterday adding new hardware and formatting my pc, installing and preparation, I finally have my running copy of the engine. Development will now continue foward on a game of mine.

Looks like a solid start, SSG. The only thing I'd reccommend changing at this point is the jumping (to a velocity-based system). Collision detection and cloud scrolling look solid. [smile]

I agree, that is a good start for a platform game. The graphics are quite good also. I especially like the cloud effect you have there. The game ran a little fast on my computer, so the clouds were going by rapidly.

Thats because he is :).
If you try walking off of a cliff then jumping it does this neat little hop thing. It felt alot more ninja then it something a knight would do [grin]
