But fear not, fellow truck lovers. I'll be getting myself a Chilton's Manual soon, and learning to do this stuff myself. Considering the maintenence that this truck is going to require, I'm going to need to know this stuff anyway.
The truck is currently sitting in my driveway, close to the house, waiting patiently for me to fix it.
In other news, it is true that a software engineer type person has a sedentary lifestyle. This is a Bad Thing. Over the weekend, I moved most of a tree (cut into 60# chunks) from one end of the yard to the other. I felt like I was going to die.
Yesterday, I burned a bunch of brush and a couple parts of the former tree. Living in the country does have its benefits, and one of them is definitely "burning stuff in your backyard while drinking beer".
I also got stung by some bee-like creatures that live in a hole in the ground in my backyard. They did not like me mowing over their home. I can't say that I blame them, but now IT IS WAR(tm)!
