I'm now a little over three months at my dev job. Everything seems to be going well. I've got a fair handle on the DB layout now, and am getting better with the business terminology. We've got some new people in so I expect a bit of my busy newbie work will be tossed over to them leaving me free for more of the difficult stuff. I cannot say I am thrilled, but it also is likely to involve more development work so we'll see.

Moe work is still non-existent, maybe this weekend, but unlikely.

I installed mono on my little linux machine here, and it seems complete enough. I'm going to see if I can't get it on a dev machine at work (and MSVC# on my desktop) to use for some of the ad hoc stuff that is too complex for perl to handle nicely and too practical for c++.
