GBP368.80 return in sardine class is about as good as I could of hoped for - I paid GBP550 to go to the last summit and the price has been fluctuating north of GBP400 for the last month or two.
Whilst I'm probably going straight to hell (do not pass go, do not collect GBP200) for destroying the environment it is quite remarkable that we can travel from one side of the planet to the other for a mere GBP184.40 [wow]
Microsoft arrange events from 12th March through to 15th March but I'm going to be in Seattle from the 7th through to the 19th - giving me an additional 8 days to do some sightseeing.
I got given a Seattle guidebook as a Christmas present so I've been working out the things I want to do, but now I know exactly when I'll be in Seattle I can start to plan it properly.
I really REALLY want to get out to Snoqualmie Falls - but I don't know if public transport can get me that far out of the city. I think I could quite happily spend a lot of time visiting the areas around Seattle rather than the city itself, but I doubt that'll be easy to organise.
Wonder if the GDNet-Seattle group is gonna be active...
All signs point to yes [smile].
