So, I'm going over resume's for interns, and I run across one from a masters student in CS.


He listed each SQL command he's ever used on his resume.


ie:

Quote:
* Supported SELECT, INSERT, CREATE TABLE, DROP TABLE, CREATE INDEX and DROP INDEX statements


...

wow.


I really give up.

Well, the first key should've been "masters' student". A lot of them are GPA-chasers who took easy courses their whole way through and kissed enough prof ass.

Those of us who are taking hard courses for fun have a crappier GPA, and I really disagree with GPA being the sole discerner of quality.

I agree 100%. As someone who challenges himself by taking courses that normal people would consider insane (like spending a week in the lab making a processor - literally a week), I think that the GPA system is crap as well.
