Let me introduce myself,
My real name is Stefan Lulham though some people call me Stephen and others call me Steps. I'm 19 (20 on may 4th) and I live in the UK in a lil village called Horam.
History
I started programming when I was about 8 I guess, well anyway the first language I remember programming in was Amstrad BASIC (I believe the instruction manual had some code in the back which I used to copy). Some time later we got a PC and I started playing around with QuickBASIC and later (much later) we got VisualBASIC so I played around with that a bit as well. Nothing really constructive came out of those years however I still kept programming and eventually I found Blitz and WOW!
I was really impressed with that language and made all sorts of lil demos(games) and had a blast doing so, it really is a easy language to pick up. About one year after I got Blitz3D, BlitzMax was released and that introduced me to some really cool OOP stuff and I fell in love.
The BASIC languages have limits however and sure enough I wanted more. Fortunally Microsoft was there to feed me with FREE express editions. I downloaded C++ asap and really haven't looked back.
While all this was happing I also found time to fall in love with HTML, PHP, MySQL and CSS
Current Projects
Well I recently brought some domain hosting and started making a website based game called MeloTribes as well as that I'm working on a 2D game engine, the design documentation to which can be found here(WIP).
RL stuff
I go to Park College in Eastbourne (about and hours bus ride from where I live) and study Computing, Maths and Graphic Design.
I work at the CoOp, in a town not too far from where I live, on the frozen section so I'm nice and cool in the hot summer days :D
Recent Stuff
I just brought my self Office 2007 and have ordered Vista HP which should be here tomorrow YAY. Also I have about 5 weeks of college left (until exams :<) so revision is the word I'm hearing a lot lately.
Other Stuff
You can visit my website at http://www.fallenmoondesign.com which currently has a video of me using my engine (which is called FallenEngine btw).
Questions
Did I write this in notepad first, Yes. I don't trust online forms, they are subject to me accidently pressing shortcut keys.
That's about it, cya around.
