The real test, of course, will be for me to install Vista and try out some D3D10 stuff.
Well, it's been 20 minutes and the 8800 seems to be running smoothly. Machine sounds quieter than it used to, though this might be down to me blowing some air into the case while it was open. I was a little concerned as my power supply is only 500W, while the recommended is 600W, but the minimum is 400W so hopefully I'll be fine.

WHey 8800 ruless, got mine today too and it all works fine tho its only a tad bit nosier. Wheye.
Btw my psu is only 500w too and i have the uperclocked one. no problems so far I tried NWN2 Max Settings and Gothic3 and it still hasent expoleded or anything.
