I got my laptop today. It's either broken or I'm an idiot. It was working fine for about 15 minutes, then I went off to meeting and closed it. When I came back and tried to wake it up from sleep mode, the back light on the screen didn't turn back on. Either there's a button somewhere that I can't find and isn't very well documented, or the screen is fubar.

Oh well, at least I'll be able to find out how good Asus's customer support is.

Edit: Yep, something must have happened to the LCD screen during shipping, 'cause it's not working. Asus tech support was fairly competent. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was good enough. Now, to get an RMA number from Newegg and get my replacement. I was all excited to get my laptop, but now it's going to be like another two weeks [sad]. Sigh.
