I'm not sure if I said it here or not (I talk in a lot of different places lol), but I'm going to be spending some time now polishing up the game before I move on to AI and such. Just seems like a decent place to do it.

I've been working on shaders all day, trying to get a certain effect and it's not working. I'm downloading a couple different libraries and I'm hoping they'll have some info in them that'll help.

One of the polish items on my list is per-pixel lighting. I really think this will add a lot of atmosphere to the game (I was originally just planning on having it like it is.) I'm going to spend tonight doing that. I'll be doing shadows while working on this as well since it'd be super awesome to have shadows that changed depending on where the source of light is.

I'm only going to spend about another hour on this effect and if I can't get it working, I'll probably post in the forums asking for help. Then I'll move onto lighting.
