Over the past few days I've been porting over this raycasting code to C#, just for fun, plus I extended the code by adding in depth based lighting. I mainly just wanted to see what performance I'd get, and around 150 FPS is pretty good. Next up I plan on adding in "sectors" with different texture and lighting settings. Maybe scrolling walls as well.

Nice! What are you using for the actual rendering -- just the normal WinForm graphics routines?

No, it's an MDX app. I'm rendering by copying a 2D array to the back buffer.
I tried using SDL.Net, but I couldn't even get a decent FPS when rendering nothing.
