Is this the End?

This week I started my first full-time job, so I'm going to have a lot less spare time on my hands. Firstly, that means a lot less posting on gamedev...

*waits for the cheering to stop*

...and secondly, it means that progress on my design document will be slow (as I had already predicted anyway). I'll still be continuing with it though, so you can stop crying [grin]

As a sidenote, I just bought myself a Game Boy Advance SP to keep me entertained on the bus trips to and from work. I'm hoping that the games I'll get will inspire me when I'm working on my own. I've got a few games already:
  • Mario Kart: Super Circuit
  • Golden Sun
  • Yoshi's Island
  • Bomberman Tournament
  • Super Mario Bros. (this came free with the console)
And some more are being delivered as I write this:
  • Warioware
  • Metroid Fusion
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (+ Four Swords)
Quite a few oldies in there, but they are all great games.

I had a friend worked at O2 who said it was great, but alas, I am working for the Halifax. They seem pretty cool though. Training is a bit of a lark: as a group bonding excercise we made a 5 foot tall paper giraffe. Still, the final work will be pretty dull. I'll have internet access, but I doubt regular GameDev visits would go unnoticed.
