MAGIC - End of Day 2

You know you might be a game programmer if when you're ill your idea of "bed rest" involves a laptop and a programming IDE. I wasn't able to get a lot done but I've got the basis app running with some mountains to make a background. I'm feeling a lot better this morning so I hope I'll be able to make more headway this evening. Given I wrote Brixtar mainly on my Windows desktop I think I'll work predominantly on my Macbook Pro this time to see how that goes.

My MAGIC game title is "Tower of Cows". That pretty much sums up the entirety of the game too.

I was playing Brixtar yesterday and I came across a strange bug. I was able to pick the paddle up with my mouse and move it along the x and y axises. I could even put it outside of the inner bounding box and as earlier reported, could also loss balls outside the box. It added an interesting element of gameplay ;)

You might have accidently activated "air hockey mode". That's an intentional cheat I was using to help debugging but I left it in the game (F8 toggles it). I like the change in feel it gives quite a lot; I'm thinking of making a variant based around air hockey physics.
