Still here :-)

Right, figured I should just check in to prove I'm still alive [grin]

I will eventually get around to doing some development work - I've purposefully been taking a "holiday" now that the book is done. But I already have that nagging feeling - my three letter acronym's are getting lonely (ok, the IDE and SDK [lol]).

Anyway,

As of last weekend I was reawarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Status. Yay! Three years in a row - not too shabby if I say so myself [cool]

Right, must stop rambling - got to head off into central London to dodge terrorists watch the Tour de France. Tomorrow is the British Grand Prix - will be interesting to see where Hamilton comes. Then in the evening it's Cecil Taylor at the Royal Festival Hall at the south bank, followed by Ornette Coleman on Monday night. Any fellow GDNet'ers interested in the Free Jazz of the 50's and 60's?

Now do you see why I'm not doing any development?

Congrats on the MVP. I guess we'll have to suffer each other for another year :), as I've been reawarded, too.

And I got a Wii as a wedding gift. I only unpacked it this morning, and discovered it's an Australian import with an Australian plug. Though I should be able to get it to work with an adaptor.

Thanks [grin]

When it's in the shops? [lol]

Seriously, I don't have a specific date but the last I heard seemed to suggest there'd be a 6-8 week time between submitting the final text and it being available. But don't quote me on that [wink]

3 people in a row, wouldn't want to be the one to ruin it.
