Finally smooth,.

Well finally something went smoothly. I got my silverlight app successfully pulling down URLs from my web service and then loading the images in the background. Now that I have the proof of concept up and running it's onto rolling them into a demo game.

I like Jack's idea of having the service dynamically generating the images and can envision some interesting uses of that. Add in some simple caching and it would probably perform just as well as having a set of static images. I'm not going to tackle that functionality right now but it definitely is on the list.
