Army of Darkness is on the Space channel right now. It's been a long time since I've seen it.

While the movie has a lot of wonderful one liners, this one sticks out for me:
"Yo. She-bitch. Let's go."

I don't know why, but it cracks me up to hear it every time. I wonder... if I said that to my fiance would there be violence?

What's your favorite Campbell one-liner?

Speaking of comedy:

So I was wandering through threads guaranteed to raise my blood pressure, fill me with an unholy hatred such as the world has never seen and just all around piss me off.

I found this:

Do you understand your code too well?
Stressed about well-named variables?
Maybe other people maintain your code and don't complain?

Well fear not! For a limited time, we're offering 40% off our latest product! It's guaranteed to twist minds into defeat. Spend longer figuring out what you wrote two weeks ago! Do the same thing in six different but unrecognisable ways! Amaze your friends, with our latest product, Perl. Studies have shown that over 50% of the population hasn't heard of Perl yet. Don't be one of those who misses out! Perl is a market leader in such under-explored areas as:
  • Code Obfuscation
  • Headaches
  • Symbol Compression
  • Implicit scalar conversions
  • And much much more!

Act now and receive a free .22 handgun for that final, fleeting moment of relief! From $89.90.

Man, I should've gotten into advertising. I kind of like Perl, though. But that's because I've only seen my own code.

Jesus Harold Christ, I roared. I'm sure some people wouldn't find it funny, because those people are DEAD INSIDE. But for the life of me, I just couldn't stop laughing as I read it. Maybe it's funny because it's true? So good on ya _goat, it's nice to read something really amusing in the middle of a shite C# vs the universe thread. I'd rate you up, but it seems I already have put you up as high as I could.
