Now, onto what everyone comes here for:
Time to finish something
So, it's time that I actually finished a project. I've been saying this for quite a while and I've come to realize that this is a skill that I'm lacking. I get to the hard, boring part of game development and I quit. That's really going to get me far lol.
Anyway, I'm going to start a design for a project to work on. It's going to be a single-player 2D RPG for sure. Other than that...we'll see I guess. I need to keep it pretty simplified so that I can complete it, but I want to make something worth playing.
I'm finishing Spelunker. I started working on it earlier, but my design is a little fucked up. I've got the map system switched over and I'm working on adding scripting support, but for some reason all of my variables are setup inside of a state rather than my game class, so everything is a little screwy. I'll update again when I have something interesting to show.
