EvolutionEngine reaches 40K

EvolutionEngine reaches midpoint in development

EvolutionEngine (Eveh3D) has finally reached the midway point in development. It should be completed by the next year. It currently has over 80 source files, and over 40,000 lines of code.

We still have alot of work to do on the engine core and OpenGL renderer. Along this, we need to implement scene management, input management, audio management, AI, collision detection, physics, networking, and multi threading.

This should all be completed by next year. Along this, we want to add audio codecs, better OpenGL extensions support, and a DirectX Driver plugin.

Ohh right... I forgot about implementing LUA support, as well. That is going to be very important as well, and a better 3DS codec (We have a basic one developed for testing earlier versions.)

This should bring the engine up to about 100K lines of code, and it does not include a full 2d/3d software renderer as well, nor better system support (Portability purposes.)

This is a proud time for us, as EvolutionEngine is almost fully developed, and is almost ready for our 3d commercial game.
