WinSock 2

I've been screwing around with WinSock 2 for the last few hours and I've got a really simple chat program done. I'd do something more advanced, but I don't feel like working with Win32 to make a better interface lol. Once I get my D3D GUI done, I'll make something with that. Until then, I'm just happy to have something working with WinSock; usually I get started and then fail miserably.

I stripped the item, skills, and abilities systems out of SuperRPG and replaced them. I'm almost finished, I just need to wrap up the effects system for them. I've got them all set up to use LUA like I was planning, we'll just have to see if it's too slow.

Time for bed, I have to get up in two hours to take Cierra to work and then go to work myself.

Sounds a bit like me, I really don't know why I can't get around this.

The process goes something like this:
- I start a project.
- Once I hit a huge barrier/problem that I can't solve easily I start getting distracted by other ideas floating around in my head.
- I get started on those and the process repeats.

Lol, that's exactly how it happens for me XD. "OMG, WHY CAN'T I FIGURE THIS OUT?!" "...this other project would be awesome to develop!" *starts a new project*

That's why the only projects I have finished are ones that I can finish in a day or two. Gotta get past that if we ever want to go anywhere though ^_^
