I've started designing Level 3, the "Asteroid Field" level, and it is coming along quite nicely so far. The level, as I've previously shown, takes place with a bunch of randomly placed asteroids floating around, which can be shot to pieces which hurl in random directions.

The result is that the level is very random and chaotic compared to the usual attack patterns I've been using. It's very experimental, and some of the results are funny, like bombers and battleships crashing into asteroids on there way across the screen. I've also made some of the grunt enemies spawn randomly, which works nicely too.

I think I'll have another demo of the game soon, maybe this weekend.
