Finally got to work today and implemented moving platforms:

My goal was to write a platform class that was very extendable and could have more than one object standing on it, and it looks like I was successful. Although, I haven't been able to test it with more than one object on top, so I won't celebrate yet(well, maybe just a little).

Next up, I'll probably work on his combo animations, and test hit detection. Although I'm not going to program any actual enemies yet, I'll probably put in a punching bag object or something like that to test the hit detection.

And then I'll possibly come up with a good superhero name for this guy...that will probably be the hardest part[grin]

Nice man its looking really great. Also is there anyway we can see the source of that platform class or at least snippets of your code as you go along to see how you implemented things. I would understand if you didnt want to but its always nice to see how people are doing things while following projects :)

Are you writing this in C#?

I can post some of the platform code later on, but there are still some bugs I want to work out with it. It's still not working exactly how I would like, as evidenced by the one-pixel line between the player and the platform, but it's getting there.

The game is being written in C# using the XNA framework.
