How about a Mario style platformer, but set underwater with polygon-shaped levels and a fish as the main character?

The most important step towards making a game is sticking to it, even when it doesn't feel like the best idea in the world. Odds are, even if it doesn't seem great at the moment, you'll be able to shape it bit by bit into something impressive by the time you're done developing it. [smile]

speaking of Mario, in one of the game boards he should make a cameo, swimming by. That fish reminds me somewhat of the fish in Mario World
