I flew after the work, so I've arrived at city centre at 2AM. Good luck trying to find a place to stay at that hour in the middle of the summer. So I walked around the Kings Cross area and finally at 4am managed to find a bed and breakfast room so tiny I could barely walk in when my travel bag was on the floor (instead I chose to just jump on the bed, as I was sleep deprived for whole stay).
Saturday morning I met with Superpig and Phantom and we promptly started getting wasted. Ben wasn't there which makes me sad, but there's always the next time. We went to a comic store where I met Superpigs' gf and her friend (both absolutely crazy :D) and spend too-fucking-much on Hellblazer comics. Also managed to buy Danielewski's House of Leaves, which is awesome (I've been reading it only during night so far and the atmosphere is IMMENSE). From there we proceded to get drunk more, and eventually went off for a movie party @ Pig's.
I was allowed to crash on the sofa for the night and next morning set off to see The Police concert (not before noticing that DIABLO 3 FUCK YEAH was announced and playing a bit with theremin, which was sweet experience). I was positive that concert starts at 3PM, so I headed off as soon as possible. Sting & co didn't start playing till 8PM, but thanks to that I managed to get like 20 meters from the stage. I maed some picture, but the 1.3 megapixel camera in my phone is a joke so it doesn't look very good:
Doesn't matter. I know what I've seen and I won't forget it for whole my life (or at least till the mental problems start creeping in).
Went home from Hyde Park, saw tons of Spanish people cheering, got 3 hours of sleep and had to run for my train to airport. Straight after landing from airport I went to the office, only 2 hours late.
I need sleep.
It was good.
Can't wait for the next time.
