Today, I successfully incorporated the JetLag sound effects into the iPhone version. I have also completed the main menu, how to play, and about screen.

Which means I'm just a little bit of testing away from done with it. And then it's off to the app store!

It is a wonderful thing to hear the jetlag song coming out of headphones on an ipodtouch.

Love the ASCII graphics. People will either get the joke and enjoy the kitsch or they'll freak out with the thought of a *gasp* DOS PORT.

Definitely go with the ASCII theme for everything, including the icon.

In fact, you need to have an opening animation. . .

1. black screen with a C:\> prompt and a blinking underline

2. text typing out CD GAMES and then JETLAG.EXE

3. the main menu scrolling up from the bottom of the screen

If you're gonna go retro, go all the way with it. If you mix retro with recent-looking stuff, it'll just look like a halfhearted port. If you go 102% retro with it, it'll garner some smiles.
