So, as you might have seen I was in The Lounge asking what is it that sucks about IRC Clients? in order to get feedback/ideas for my own plans.

And I had planned to do some work on it this weekend, honest, but there was a slight problem; Penny Arcade's On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness : Episode Two was released recently and having spotted it I had to get it, having enjoyed the first one a great deal.

This led to me being sucked into that for the passed day or so, although I've now completed it so that shouldn't hinder things... well, once I've wanted the final F1 race later that is.

As for the game itself; well if you liked the first one you'll like this one. Some proper laugh out loud moments in it, the story is again intresting and well written, the fights are much the same although you've got different weapons this time and the "special attack" triggers are different and a bit more challenging this time out, which is good.

I'm not going to say much more as it's one of these games you really need to play and have things come at you, but I played it start to finish in two sittings, only stopping to sleep, which should give you some idea of how good it is.

Anyway, IRC client... yeah, I'll do something on that later.. honest... [grin]

The suggestions you got for your IRC client sound really good. If those features make their way into your IRC client, I'll probably use it instead of mIRC.
