Okay, I didn't get the list done today, but thats okay. I was asking about editing geometry on #gamedev and Jingo said I should check out vertex shaders for deforming the gum instead of doing it on the CPU. It seems like a good idea but I'll have to learn vertex shaders first. I'll be using them throughout the demo so I may as well start learning how to use them now. Tomorrow I'm going to rig up a test app which will oad in the gum definition image, create the vertex data and then use a vertex shader to deform / light the model. Actually, it'll probably take me more than a day, but it'll be worth it.

I also bought the Transformers movie today. It is one of the reasons I didn't get everything done today. But it just plain rocks, if you haven't seen it do.

I'm now going to go off and learn as much as I can about vertex shaders.
