3D Graphics Programming - The coursework for this module is to create some kind of 3D game/program on the Playstation 2, using the PS2 Linux kit. I envisage this being good fun, due to the fact that it is fairly open ended.
Programming Environments - This module extends over the whole year, covering Java, DirectX and Audio programming.
Games Tool Programming - Compilers, Lex, BNF, Yacc, Grep, blah blah blah. Pretty dry stuff. Interesting though.
Group Project - In November I will have to submit a game design document. Each member of the class will present these designs to the rest of the class, and then we form teams and each pick one of the ideas and develop a prototype of said game. I can see this module being the most enjoyable, but also probably the toughest one.
So there you have it. Now all I have to do is reduce my hours at work and I may have time to commit myself properly.
