There is some progress coming; I've fixed a bunch of hinky bugs with the blood spraying and I'm adding UI tooltips to the inventory panel as well as "implant effects" to visually inform the player of what's going on with their implant loadout.

Nothing is pretty enough yet to show pictures of, but we'll see how it turns out. One thing I did do that makes the game awesome is crank up the bullet speed in air; now it feels more like Glow and is actually pretty fun to shoot at dudes in.

I still have to implement player death/respawn and then I can get started tuning actual gameplay instead of nonvisible features.

I had seen your last two screen shots, looking forward to seeing some more. What kinds of weapons are you putting into this game? Will a flame thrower be included?

I had a flamethrower in one of the initial documents, but I'm not sure if I will continue with that.

New weapons include salvaged point defense weapons (machine turrets, etc) if you have the appropriate implant, hopefully some kind of laser gun and definitely more high-octane shrapnel vomiting "cone of death" guns.

If you've played the original, the Bonesaw will return as well as an entirely new superweapon - it's a good one!

I actually recorded a video earlier, now I'm just trying to figure out how to upload it to YouTube. It came out surprisingly large.

edit: Oh yeah, explosives are new.
