Level Editor Alpha 4.1

Today seemed like a good day to record a few changes to the level editor. For those that do not know, this isn't a level editor like my other ones, it can be used to make anything from an RPG to a space shooter. However it only supports 2D for now. I will also be briefly talking about the engine part as well.

Some new changes I added in are:

- Better GUI (Which has already been stated before, just not in another video)
- Bigger Map Size View
- Map Background Color
- Background Loading
- Live Scrolling, Left or Right with a speed option
- Flashing Graphics to show which one you're selecting
- Help Section

That's looking really good. Nice work. Always nice to see a video of a level editor in action with commentary.

That's looking quite nice. I think the flashing selected object would get annoying after a while, but that's just a personal opinion. I'd prefer a rectangle outline around the entity to depict selected.

Another nice feature to have would be a list of active objects on the right of the screen. That way you could click objects in the list to give them focus. If you end up overlapping items on screen it makes for an easy way to select objects that are covered up. You could also allow naming in the list to make it even clearer what an object is.

Good work though :-)

Thanks for the comments. :)

I was going to consider putting in a rectangle box, but wanted to try the flashing idea. I should add that as an alternate option.

Adding into focus would be a great idea. :D
