Some news, I didn't win the competition (surprise surprise) but I won't quit the project just for that. :-) I know I said I would release a 'tech demo'/prototype once the competition was over. Well I am going to do so but I want some more gameplay mechanics up and working before release. Right now its possible to walk between maps and pick up objects and thats it. Not much gameplay to speak of. It would be nice to atleast be able to swing the sword and hurt some bad guys.

I am pondering to ripout my homebrewn navmesh code and replace it with recast & detour library. It hurts to abandon good working code for something else. But this library seem to do what its supposed to do... and does it really well. I guess it will pay off in the long run.
