I'm still calling it a WIP, but I probably won't finish this. I really just wanted to throw something together real quick to get an idea/learn the UI a little better. It was made using Milkshape 3D, which isn't bad but, even after all this time, it still feels unpolished. Don't get me wrong, it's a great piece of software for the price, it's nice for learning, and it works rather well. I'm just not sure I'm sold on buying it yet.
I have a few more to try out (gmax, Misfit Model, and TrueSpace.) Any suggestions on modeling software? Other than Blender; I've tried Blender several times and I've hated the experience each time.
Another junky model, thrown together in about an hour. Still not doing well with texturing, but I'm learning. I'm liking Milkshape better than the others so far. trueSpace is just a bitch to figure out, Misfit Model seems a little more polished than Milkshape, but it makes a couple things more difficult (mainly group and texture/material management), and I've yet to try out gmax.
Time to check on the laundry and head to bed.
