Creatures Anyone?

Ok, I'll tell you. The game we are designing is a massive multiplayer strategic based creature collector. I'm trying not to give to much information on the details of it, but I will give you a basis into how we plan to incorporate the player into the movement of the game. We will allow the player to send in their suggestions for creatures, and unless they are COMPLETELY ridiculous, we will add it in. Problem is, the game hasn't released yet. I posted a discussion in the forums on this subject and only got a couple responses. We will honestly take anything at this point. So help us out!

IMHO creature collecting games only work well when all the creatures are part of a coherent system. Which would mean you couldn't use random suggestions unless you figured out how they fit into a pre-existing system.

The suggestions arent completely random, and the system is already pre-built. Check out the forum in game design with the same name and youll see how i want them.

I had already read that thread, didn't get any sense of a system. Are these creatures going to be built out of a universal library of 3D parts? Or are they going to be 2D and come in a standard array of colors and/or elements? Are they inter-breedable? That's what I mean by a system.

ahhh.... well i can't yet give out the details on that yet, but it is all set up.
