  • BlueStar03 - zBuLe has two new galleries of character art depicting one example for each of the 12 races out of 25 that he's done so far for his game Crystal Destiny
  • Walking Towards The Sun - freeworld stops by to update with info and screens from two projects underway using SFML - a game that works to use trading card mechanics and a procedural dungeon crawler
  • Beals Software - Programmer16 talks about the new font system in place for SAGE done largely with AngelCode's Bitmap Font Generator
  • OddGames development journal logo+%20bullet.png - O-san has some screens of forest areas showing off new woodland graphics and also has a basic step-by-step breakdown of him drawing up a tree stump for an example of the various elements used to create the feel of a natural environment
  • omnomnom's RPG journal - omnomnom is scaling back drastically on his project to now create a simple roguelike. He puts forth a few questions he has on performance considerations and also mentions he'll be attending the International Roguelike Development Conference in London
  • Archer Alec Devlog - HabitueGames is on the prowl for people interested in a closed alpha test of Archer Alec
  • kseh's blog - kseh has a new build of Egg Hunt available that lets you play the game at larger resolutions
  • A non-programmer's programs - szecs does a post mortem on his project for the latest GDNet Community Challenge event that was held this past weekend
  • Madhed's Blog - Madhed likewise post mortems his own Community Challenge project

    Game Dev Stuffs

    • Not dead... - phantom has a rant on the common practice of game developers to stick to the tried and true methods, not always because they are correct but because they are the comfortable way to go. He challenges you to take some time to strike out and try something new or different
    • Overview Journal - TheronKuntz has a short entry on the "periods of RPG" with a breakdown of his definitions for the various eras RPG games have gone through
    • Codex of the Modemancer - modemancer found that adding an AutoCompleteTextView in a dialog box using TopicNotes is not as straightforward as it seems. He finally figured out the trick and shares it for anyone else who may come across a similar issue
