And thus this create a game series ends...

We fix the last few bugs (score was not properly reset on replay, music was stuck on saving the scores). Now the game is complete and can be enjoyed as it was meant to be!

Oh joy, Smila (the graphician) actually touched up the game even more for a retail release. It has been out for a few weeks now, but if you didn't know, go here:
Psytronik (for digital download, tape or disk) or to RGCD (cartridge with nifty packaging and stickers).
Or simply marvel in all the nice games that are still being made for older computers.

There you can actually buy a severely enhanced version (more two player game modes, better graphic, gameplay enhancements) as either digital download for emulators, or as a real tape, disk and finally as cartridge!

Thank you for your encouragements throughout, and keep on coding ;)

Just over three years. Major kudos for seeing this through to the end!!

Now don't forget to consider if this is worth wrapping up into a single article :)

Actually it was only two years ;)

Wrapping it up sounds still like a nice idea, it'll require some hefty cutting probably. It should also contain the not mentioned parts for enhancing this version to the retail version (esp. the cartridge troubled me).

One word: woah

I've been following your journal for a while (though not from the start) and it is mind blowing that you actually reached the end. That's dedication.

Thanks :)

It was actually a close call a few times. In the start I had a quite nice buffer of steps but towards the end I was working step by step (one of the reasons for those filler steps) ;)

Congratulations on seeing this through to completion --  I haven't had much to comment on, but I've enjoyed following all of the updates!

Like Drew, I'm sure plenty of people would absolutely love to read about some of your experiences and lessons learned -- especially if there's material not already covered in your journal -- if you have the time and inclination to share an article or further entries! smile.png

Whoops, I can't count.

Yes, I don't expect a direct copy/paste - take the time to work it into a well-connected piece and do include extra info if you have it - just submit it to the article queue when you get around to it. Thanks!
