Project Updates

  • Habitue Games Journal - HabitueGames shares the rough design sketches for his Android/PC Demolition Game project and outlines some of the interface and gameplay
  • RuinValor - Birth of Talos - riuthamus has some purty pictures of RuinValor's improved water and smooth land using dual contouring
  • DMD 'Ware - polyfrag is almost done with Corporation-States and shows off some more of the simulation actions as well as some interface shots of graphs and other helpful ways to see what's happening with your city. But wait, balancing may delay the end of the project
  • Gamieon's Journal - Gamieon has given himself 48 hours with Unity to make a game - jam on! He's detailing his progress on an hourly basis and has the first 24 hours worth of development up for review
  • Gaiiden's Scroll - Gaiiden gets inspired by HabitueGames' design sketches and shares his own for a game bubbling in his head the past several years. He also dug up the original design draft and documents. Yea, he wanted to make an MMO too at one point... no one is immune!!

    • Infinity Elephant Development Journal - Plethora shares some things that have helped him stay motivated while working on personal projects
    • Leadwerks Developer Blog - Josh Klint talks about the latest Leadwerks engine update, which includes new editor features and workflow enhancements, such as the previously-mentioned [color=rgb(0,0,0)][font=arial]lightmapping across curved surfaces with smooth groups[/font][/color]
