Honestly, I kinda like the art-style that you have here: while simple, it's cute and charming, I find (the fellow in a diving mask was a fun surprise!). There are perhaps some points that might be improved, but for now it's perhaps better to focus on gameplay.
Speaking of which, it looks as though your game is shaping up fairly well. Do you have any further traps in mind?
That was my original idea for this competition, now I'm glad I didn't go down that road, 'cause you're obviously doing it a lot better than me!

I wouldn't worry about loosing the time in drawing as the art style looks really unique and I like it. The effort was not for nothing!
