Mobile Game Reviews: Let's Play Flat Army: Sniper War

The latest gameplay review is of a chaotic shooter that I found super entertaining, although (be warned), the controls weren't the best.

Overall a really great experience, but judge for yourself because it's time to play Flat Army Sniper War ;)

Can we request games?

Sure thing :)

Anything in particular you'd like me to cover?

It is a puzzle game, not sure if you are into that genre.

Thanks for the recommendation!
For now, I focus purely on games played horizontally as opposed to vertically. This is primarily because it looks better on video when played back on YouTube.

Don't hold back on recommending other games in the future, though. I need to find and curate the best games each and every day, so it's great to have several games to pick between :)

I totally understand this. I was making a Kickstarter video with a group of people and they individual shot their clip over half shot it vertical. :(

We are in the process of reshooting them to get the landscape style and make it more youtube friendly.

Auch, yeah, that sounds like a lot of additional work.

I might end up covering vertical games one day - there's a bunch of great mobile games that can only be played in vertical mode. But sadly, they won't look that good on Youtube.

Anyway, are you launching a Kickstarter soon, or were you referring to an older project?

It is a campaign to raise money to add some great music to the desktop version of the game.

As for the Vertical video issue, look into blender. That is way I used in the Kickstarter video to mix the vertical video with another scene. I am not a professional, but think it was way better than having the black bars (minus the ones in the beginning that were that to tell people it was mobile game).

Nice, good luck raising the $500, man! Wish you all the best of luck :)

Other YouTubers also add a background to the sides of the vertical video, and I may end up doing that. But for now, it is just so much easier for me to focus on games played horizontally.
